Refund Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid lrnit subscriptions. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, so refunds are issued through Paddle to your original payment method.

1. Try it free first

Every learner can use lrnit's Free plan to generate a course and learn it at full quality before paying anything. We encourage you to use the Free plan to decide whether lrnit is right for you before subscribing.

2. Subscriptions & billing

Paid consumer plans (Plus and Pro) are billed in advance, monthly or annually as you choose, and renew automatically until you cancel. Each charge is processed and itemized by Paddle, which also handles applicable taxes.

3. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your account settings ("Manage billing"), which opens the secure Paddle customer portal. When you cancel:

  • you keep access to your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for;
  • your subscription does not renew, and you are not charged again;
  • cancelling on its own does not trigger a refund of the current period — see below.

4. 14-day money-back guarantee (first payment)

If you are not satisfied, you can request a full refund of your first subscription payment within 14 days of that payment. We will refund it, no hard feelings. This applies to your initial purchase of a new subscription.

5. Renewals & later periods

Renewal charges (and payments after the 14-day window) are generally non-refundable, because you can cancel at any time to prevent the next charge and you keep access through the period you have paid for. If you were charged for a renewal you did not intend — for example, you meant to cancel and got charged a day later — contact us; we review these in good faith and will usually refund a recent, unused renewal.

6. How to request a refund

Email hello@lrnit.app from your account email with the date of the charge, or use the receipt link in the email Paddle sent you (Paddle receipts include a way to request help). We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method and may take a few business days to appear, depending on your bank.

7. Exceptional circumstances

We may decline refunds where we reasonably believe a request is abusive (for example, repeated subscribe-refund cycles). Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law — those rights always apply in addition to this Policy.

8. Organization (Teams) plans

Organization subscriptions are provisioned per seat and billed by invoice or bank transfer under a separate order form or agreement. Refunds and cancellation terms for organizations are governed by that order form, not by the 14-day consumer guarantee above.

9. Contact

Questions about billing or refunds? Email hello@lrnit.app.
