lrnit builds courses from what you ask for. That means we hold the prompts you write, the courses generated from them, and enough account data to bill you. This page says what happens to each of those.
What we collect
Account details: name, email, language preference, and payment identifiers held by our payment processor. We do not store card numbers.
Learning data: what you asked to learn, the courses generated, quiz answers, and progress. Usage data: pages viewed, device type, coarse location derived from IP.
How we use it
To generate and re-order your courses, to remember where you stopped, to bill you, and to find where courses fail. We do not sell personal data and we do not run third-party advertising.
Team documents
Material a team connects stays scoped to that workspace. It is used to answer questions and build courses for members of that workspace only, and it is never used to train models. When the workspace is deleted, its documents are deleted with it; copies in database backups age out within 30 days as backups rotate.
Who processes it
Course generation runs on third-party language models under agreements that prohibit training on your content. Prompts sent to them are stripped of account identifiers.
A small set of services processes data on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting, and the gateway that routes model calls), Google Cloud (text-to-speech), Voyage AI (embeddings), Dodo Payments (billing), Resend (email), PostHog (analytics, only after you consent), HeyGen (workspace onboarding videos), Sentry (error monitoring), E2B (sandboxed code execution) and Brave Search (web content discovery). What each one sees is listed on the security page.
Staff access
lrnit staff can open an account to answer a support request, investigate a fault, or run the service. Support can also generate a link that signs in to your account, to hand to you directly.
Every one of those accesses is recorded: who looked, which account, and when. If your account belongs to a team workspace, your administrators see that record on their own audit log, so you do not have to take our word for it.
Retention
Courses and progress are kept while your account is open. Delete your account and both are removed immediately; copies in database backups age out within 30 days as backups rotate. Records we are required to keep for tax and fraud purposes are the one exception.
Your rights
You can export your courses, correct your details, or delete your account from settings. Where local law grants additional rights (access, objection, portability), write to us and we will answer within 30 days.
